Next, moving to the left side of the back of your head, braid your hair down the center, curve it to the far left at the nape of your neck, and add in extensions for length as you wrap the braid around your ear (incorporating the end of the tiny cornrow you created in the previous step. With the section of hair that falls between the two feed-in braids on the left side of your head, create a cornrow that will eventually become a part of the braid that wraps around your ear. Repeat the same process between the two cornrows on the left side of your head, directing the braid toward the crown of your head. Remember the two initial cornrows you made at the beginning along the top of your hairline? Between the two of them, create another feed-in braid with an inch-wide section of hair. Then, create another feed-in braid, using a one-inch-thick section of hair, below the cornrow at your temple.Īt the curved part of the braid you just created at the nape of your neck, start a feed-in braid that goes up toward the crown of your head. Do the same on the right side of your head between the cornrow braid you made along your hairline and temple. Make sure each braid is angled up toward the crown of your head, rather than braiding each straight back.
Repeat the process three more times: The second braid should be next to braid you just created (leave a one-inch space between the two), and then cornrow a half-inch section of hair on the left and right sides of your head in line with your temples. Begin to cornrow that section toward the crown of your head. Separate a half-inch section of hair, moving your comb in a wavy line, so you end up with a part that isn't straight.
